Certificate of Approval
For critical marine operations with higher risk of economic loss, the Warranty Surveyor shall approve the operations on site. This is based on the review and approval of all relevant engineering and procedural documentation, and inspections of vessels, equipment and preparations. The list of documents to be approved and the marine operations requiring Warranty Surveyor attendance are usually listed in the Construction All Risks (CAR) warranty clause. When all documents are approved and all preparations completed the Warranty Surveyor will issue a “Certificate of Approval” and the operation may start.
